So when I stopped playing today my reputation with the NCR was Idolized and I started a few minutes ago and noticed it was Neutral... WTH?!?

The only thing I did was kill two rangers for their ranger armor (For me and Boone) but I did this by placing a c-4 and detonating them from a safe location, so this should not have done anything. The only other thing I can think of would be me wearing my Ranger Armor and it saying I was dressed like the NCR... But still I don't get it, what happened?

*Update* Just noticed my Powder Ganger, Caesars Legion, and BOS rep is neutral as well when the former were both vilified and the latter Idolized. This better not affect the pact I made between the NCR and BOS

Did you equip any faction armor?[if your wearing the ranger armor that would be a yes].

When you wear faction armor it overrides your faction reputation,[and sometimes it doesn't properly reset afterwords requiring a couple equip and remove the armor a couple times.

Ugh... So basically I can't wear the Ranger Armor anymore or it will mess a bunch of stuff up?!

Yeah I noticed this today when it would not let me radio in for ncr back up, how does some guy miles away from the combat, proberbly in some office somewhere know I'am where NCR armour?

Yea, thats one of my problems is that when wearing faction armor (which just so happens to be half the armor in the game and most of them look really cool) your reputation with that faction is considered neutral for you. Like i talked to some lady to get some extra ammo because i was idolized by them and shes like no its only for NCR, then i went naked and talked to her agian and shes like Ohh seeing your reputation with NCR you need this. Same with NCR radio stated above. I just hot keyed my armor so i can take it off call in support and put it back on.

I really think they should made like one set of armor for each faction and that is the designated "disguise armor" and the rest is considered regular armor and wont crap out your reputation.
