The Legion isn't wholeheartedly evil, by any means either. Opinions like this show me that people only get out of it what they put in to really evaluate the factions at a core and basic level.

Eh... The NCR don't want really to protect NV. They want to conquer NV and get it into their republic. They want the electricity and water, because they don't have much of this in the west.
Caesar's legion isn't evil, they're expedient...
This is a Quakecon thread. Please take the NV discussions elsewhere
Legion is as Grey as the NCR are. If Fallout 4's factions are similar to New Vegas, I'll be happy. As long as we don't have to repeat Little Lamplight again, ugh easily the worst thing about Fallout 3.
Perk tree:
As best I could describe it is like a Jeopardy board: 7 [SPECIAL] categories and 10 rows of increasingly better perks.
Jeopardy board, the angish of waiting for the footage will kill me.
Seems like the people speculating the supposed "perk poster" in the garage sceenshot were correct.
Legendary creatures confirmed

Skyrim-esque perk tree and Ghouls being turned into zombies from CoD? No thanks.
Wish they explored companions more, but it's nice to have some names.
Legendary Deathclaw Hype, hopefully the Legendary stuff isn't HP bot type enemies.

Locational damage finally.
Perk tree? Yes. Skyrim-esque? No. The perk tree in Skyrim works completelly different.
Zombies pouring in from windows and cracks, not to mention the images we have from E3 that look almost exactly like the newer CoD zombies? Yeah, they're just going with what's cool; lore be damned.
The ghouls are walking rotting "corpses". They were called shufflers for a reason. They shouldn't be running and leaping with glowing eyes.
From what I've seen it looks pretty damn close. I'm curious how you know it's completely different when images have suggested that you need to grab one before the others and have adequate SPECIAL?
locational damage sounds OP as heck but I like it.
I don't know what CoD zombies look like, but the new animations are awesome, imo. Feral Ghouls can run, there's no reason they shouldn't be able to, they aren't zombies in the sense they are constantly decaying.
If they were honestly just walking corpses then they'd be really [censored] boring enemies to fight.
"Oh ghouls? Yeah just push them down, they can't really do anything then."
Besides they were running in FO 3 and New Vegas too. This is just improving the animation.
From what I remember seeing the Ghouls at the E3 presentation, it was a huge improvement over Fallout3/New Vegas. Bring on the Ghouls.
Ghouls were rotting , languid corpses and now they're moving around like a highly charged electron.
Raul often proclaimed that he was in pain as well...
They are, the legendary albino ones in advanced stealth power armor with high speed mini nuke launchers have less HP
Yes, in fact they are. Have you not played any other Fallout game before? Their tissue is decaying and you can see internal organs and tissue peeling away. They have always been barely holding together.
In Fallout 2 a quest about a ghoul suggested they needed to bathe regularly to stop maggot infestation and horrible stench. So yes, they are constantly decaying and should not be running, leaping and why the hell do they have glowing eyes just like CoD zombies all of a sudden?
