You do know that some people, such as myself, need glasses, right? It's not just an accessory to look good, they're actually a necessity.

Wow I had no idea

Here. Put this mask over your face and glasses or don't watch the demo.

That seems like they would be going way too far........ I doubt they would throw people out for not wanting to wear the mask.

... Then that takes away the whole point of making people wear masks so they can't use glasses with cameras in them.

I imagine most of the glasses would be covered by the mask, or you just have to deal with it and be partially blind.

Live blog confirmed that everyone is wearing them soooo

Inb4 some SJW claims discrimination against people with glasses

You seriously, honest to God, think that they're making people wear masks so they can't film the event with glasses? That's ridiculous. We're not living in a fascistic society where glasses are forced off of people so they can't view the event. They'll just wear the glasses over the masks. Glasses are for people to see.

If it's anywhere near the length of E3's presentation, and Brian does a good job reporting, That;s gonna be a lot of dings.

I really hope they stop emphasizing the dog..... seriously, it's playing way too big a role when I just want to see more of the actual game. Feels like they're trying to pander to different crowds at times.

You seemed to miss the part where masks are mandatory and this is a behind closed doors demo. Bethesda obviously takes it pretty seriously.

There was absolutely no footage from doom a few years ago, and I imagine someone wore glasses there too.

So? You can wear glasses over the mask. You said it's so people cannot wear glasses, which is just utterly ridiculous. It'd be a stupid move to force so many people to not view the event due to an impairment for a big company such as Bethesda.

Edit: And nothing has been said about them being mandatory anyway.

Yeah. They haven't focused heavily on the role playing elements. Just the home building and things you can do with the dog.

So is someone playing the game live or are they showing pre recorded footage?

Bethesda is 2-0 when it comes to stopping any footage.

Skyrim and Doom have been held down so far. I'm guessing they don't really care; if you don't like it you can not watch the demo. It's free admission iirc. Nothing of value lost.

Uh, excuse me sir? You have impaired eyesight? Well we don't take kindly to your type around here, you can't view this presentation, now put on a mask!

Yeah it'd be ludicrous if people were forced to not wear their glasses during the event.
