I'm not at the event, so I'm not watching the demo.

And, as said in my edit, it's not confirmed that's they're mandatory anyway. Just that a guy was waving one around on stage and shouting. But if they are mandatory, I sincerely doubt people would be forced to take their glasses off and miss the demo.

How good would the footage be with all the idiots in the crowd hooting and hollering though?

It seems people got quiet when it mattered, so I'm sure the experience would be good.

Totally not mandatory despite everyone being handed one and a guy going on stage with said masks followed by everyone putting them on. This is also coming from the guys who have somehow stopped any footage in the past.

That's a new level of naive there.

Aye. Footage is usually filmed on a phone or camcorder. I don't think I know of any event filmed with glasses anyway. So Besthesda would have to take everyone's phones.

Because google glass is relatively new. There have already been several confrontations over recording people in public with them.

No, what's naive is thinking that someone would film the event on glasses. What's naive is thinking that they'd force people to not wear glasses despite everyone having phones. What's naive is thinking that a company would force people's glasses off of them so they can't see the event.

Alright. Well, even so, glasses would be incredibly shaky and people are jut as likely to sneak a video with their phones. I mean, if you're going to force people to not wear glasses, then you'd have to take their phones too.

You think any type of recording device would be allowed? What's that about na?veté?

Considering people are hoping it gets recorded to spite Bethesda, I wouldn't put cameras in glasses past such a crowd. That's an uncomfortable level of fanaticism and childishness.

They've already confirmed that people are allowed to take phones in and everything, they just request that no video is taken with them.

They'd be allowed to take them in, just told to turn them off. But people can easily turn them back on. How can you not see how screwed up it is to tell people to remove their glasses?

Anyway, shut up. I'm not gonna respond to you again. You're just ridiculous and the event is starting.

Wow. "They model all the insides of a Mr. Handy because parts can be blown off"? That's a whole new level of attention to detail there.
