It seems to me no one has posted this yet, and if it has been posted i figured better be safe than sorry!

Not a whole lot of new info, but i think you'll be able to gain at least some new tidbits.

Thanks for the link.

Some info from the preview:

Picture of an Orc and a Khajiit.
No athletics and acrobatics confirmed (if it wasn't already)
No cap on dragon encounters
3D map of Skyrim (Like Civ V and Total War: Shogun 2)
All screenshots are made on a X360 (if you guys didn't guessed that already)
You can learn dragon shouts by examining cave writings in the dragon language. (guarded by fearsome critters)
Shouts come in three tiers.
Unrelenting force shout: releases a shockwave forward to stagger the enemy
Slow time (not the real name probably): Slows time except for you to made evading and attacking easier.
Skeletons mages are in (who can summon frost atronachs)
Draugrs also use dragon shouts

Seems to confirm no more attributes.

"The eight attribute categories from the previous Elder Scrolls game, Oblivion, have been cut out. Now you only have to worry about your Magicka to cast spells, Health for your hit points, and Stamina, which serves as a limiting factor when pulling off axe slashes and mace bashes in combat."

No Persuasion wheel which I'm definitely happy about! Also the fact animations look more fluid even in battle, a bit unsure about the non-capped dragon count though... As if they are really hard I don't want 20 on my tail..

So, attributes really are gone. I'll miss 'em...

But everything else sounds pretty good.

No attributes makes me sick. There is absolutely no excuse for this.

Combined with no Athletics and Acrobatis, how am I supposed to jump from rooftop to rooftop?

Is this is good article, or the same thing as Game Informers January coverage?

Yea, does this mean everyone will jump and run the same?
I don't want a fat old character to run as quick as a rogue, and hopefully not to jump as high.

"you can equip dual healing spells and use them one after the other. Or, if you're in dire need, you can trigger both spells simultaneously to achieve a greater effect. You'll see the healing energy from both hands pool in the center of the screen into a ball and then set off to trigger a more powerful heal. This applies to attack spells, too, like combining two lighting spells together to launch a ball of bristling electricity capable of knocking an unsuspecting Draugr from a cavern floor clear to the ceiling."

This sounds like confirmation of combining spell effects to me... (I know the examples given are the same spell type, but in theory it should work with different spells right?)

------------------------------

@ Elldariin, I think the body type in the character creation will be the deciding factor on agility and speed.

How do you guys feel about a 3D world map like the total war campaign map?

I don't care if they remove acrobatics and athletics but the attributes really should have stayed, IMO. Your skills don't govern jumping and base strength (which should have an affect in addition to your blade skill), so does everyone just have the same as this? My lightfooted Khajiit is no better than some bulky wrestler Nord at jumping and running?

To be honest i think it will be unnecessary to have a 3d world map punishing your performance... as long as a paper map looks clear to me it would've been just fine. I hope it wont take a long time to load the world map.. Oblivion style map was just what we needed although sometimes it was kinda complicated to understand the specific locations.

Khajiit looks ridiculous in that shot, I'm sorry to say. Don't know why, but they remember me from Morrowind' ones, but not in the good sense: more like a cheap "Morrowind-Skyrim" port of them.

The orc on the other hand looks awesome. So awesome I'm even inspired to create an Orc char (a race I've never touched before).

The pictures are great, the redesigned Khajiit looks fantastic, but not quite a pleasant reading after all. Few new info, and what is new is rather sad: the attributes, why? Athletics AND acrobatics? I hoped at least one would be spared.
