The known bug with Illia (no idea if it has been patch fixed..?): Where after she is dismissed, or auto-dismissed, she can not be recruited again as a follower/disappears, etc.

I have never gotten her as a follower before. On my way to Darklight Tower to get her now.

After I make her my follower for the first time, then immediately bring her to my Hearthfire home, and make her a steward.. Can anyone tell me how this affects the bug?

How does she operate after becoming steward? Is she still buggy?

I am asking because I want to still use her as a follower after she becomes steward, but I don't want this messing her up as a steward and vice versa.

Lastly, is there any chance that this adds her as a candidate for marriage after becoming steward (fixes)?

She will be the same as all stewards but still unable to follow again. The bug hasnt been fixed and making her a steward doesnt have any effect on the bug.

That is a huge disappointment.


So then, the only solution is to fix her in the console?

If I want to fix her in the console, what is the suggested path the take?

Fix her before speaking to her for the first time/making her a follower, or after?

Before or after making her a steward or after, or does it matter?

I read on a forum somewhere that this bug actually changes her voice to Lydia's voice...?

Sorry to double post, but I have a theory that if I set her relationship rank to maximum BEFORE she is first encountered/made a follower, that her option to be recruited again as a follower after dismissed may never disappear, in fact.

It seems that the bug first sets in after the first time she is dismissed.

I don't know if this causes a relationship rank drop, or not.
