hey, I have a quick question.

I'm specializing in Illusion and have to pick perks. if I pick kindred mage and animage, do I still need Hypnotic gaze, Aspect of terror and rage ? because the way I read the perk description, these three perks come together in Kindred mage and animage.

They stack anyways. So if you're specializing, why not take both branches? Being a vampire will also make your illusion spells 25% more effective.

but if you only need animage and kindred mage for your spells to have an effect on higher level oponents then I could spare more perk points.

The UESP wiki has lots of information about the spells and perks, and the effect the perks have on the maximum level for the spells. This might help you decide whether to take the perks or not.
