1. Description:
This is a mesh and texture replacer mod for the in game calcinators and retorts.
Each apparatus now has coals that flicker and the calcinators have steam escaping from their chimneys, textures have detail maps to make them stand out a little more.
The secret master calcinator and secret master retort have been added to the game - they have been given to someone who may have used them to create...

2. Setting up:
First create a backup of your save files. (This is standard safe practice for installing mods)
Drag the folder named Data Files into your Morrowind folder - a windows message prompt will ask you if you want to overwrite files/folders in that directory - select yes.
Here's what you will now have in each of the following folders:
Textures: There will be a new folder called Illy with a subfolder inside called HP
Meshes: There should be a new folder called Illy with a subfolder HP
Icons: I think you get the picture Icons/Illy/HP
Activate the esp "Illy's Hot Pots" next time you play.

3. Questions:
Q: Why did you make an esp and not a pluginless replacer?
A: Because Bethesda made a mistake and used the apprentice calcinator mesh instead of the journeyman one, the only way to fix this is create a new esp. While I was at it, it made sense to add in the secret master calcinator and retort.
Q: Can I use an improved mesh replacer with these textures?
A: No - redone meshes like Armed-Defenders use different UV maps, do not have the flip controllers or particle emitters set up and my textures do not fit such meshes correctly
Q: I want to create smooth meshes anyway!
A: ....
Q: Why haven't you also done the mortars and alembics?
A: Because they didn't have hot coals to animate.
Q: Is this a lore correct mod?
A: When I started modding I cancelled my subscription to the cult of Morrowind Correctness.
Q: Are you being overly sensitive about lore correctness?
A: I value the opinion of lore purists in the same way I value the opinion of nudists as fashion critics - neither likes change from what they view is natural - I prefer getting dressed up myself
Q: Are you saying I shouldn't mention the lore?
A: ....
Q: Can I use these models and retexures in a mod of my own?
A: As long as it is not lore correct, doesn't make money and is not illegal, knock yourself out.
Q: Can I just use the msehes and textures as a pluginless replacer?
A: Yes, however you won't see the Journeyman calcinator or new icons they required an esp. The secret ones will need to be added by console or another mod.
Q: Help! A lore purist told me that this mod is not from Mephala and I should delete it, how do I do that?
A: Deactivate the esp, delete the files mentioned above and never speak of this again.

5. Usage:
Use at own risk
These textures and models are strictly for non-commercial use. If you reuse textures give credit to the original creators.
This mod is allowed to be converted to non-english versions of Morrowind
If you don't like this mod delete it, if you think you can do better then please don't tell me just get on and do so as everyone else will enjoy your contribution to the modding world
