funnily enough, Elder Scrolls Online DOES show you opening a door with your hands

Might be an engine limitation, or something.

Well at least they crack open now. Games prior to Skyrim you just clicked a door and jumped to the next cell. Baby steps I guess...

If I recall correctly, in Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 your carrying capacity was quite limited. I remember only being able to carry one or two pieces of armor and only a few weapons. I also remember there being a need to eat and drink when traveling through the wastes.

In Fallout 4 I can carry 10 weapons and multiple pieces of armor and various outfits. It is rather silly, especially considering that the original Fallouts were more based around actual survival that was not based entirely around just combat. So many quests are just fighting waves of enemies as if it were any other FPS. I would relate this game with Borderlands.

Fallout 4 is fun, sure, but it fails in delivering a post-apocalyptic survival feeling when you can carry just about anything and plough through waves of enemies.

Speak for yourself. Plenty of us loved the dynamic side of Oblivions AI, it was far more interesting than the stripped down version we've seen since skyrim.

Stupid things could indeed happen, but it was also a lot more unpredictable & modders were able to do great things with it. OOO + MMM gave us a dynamic, interactive environment that we've simply not seen since in a bethesda game.

I loved the Dynamic AI in Oblivion - I felt it was a progressive step forward that would only improve in future titles.....guess not /shrugs

This thing you're all hungry for is called hyperrealism, it's something more real than what it is representing

yeah ppl in this comunity of the "big defenders or RPG" want something that is more kind to a real life simulator that a rpg game. i will never get it.

Well, i dont know u but the physics system was improve like crazy on Fo4 same fro lighting. Atmosphere on the game with the new weather system and the map is crazy good for me (i till think is one of the best crafting maps Bethesda have done)

And every NPC have rutting on Fallout4 they walk around speak with each other work eat sleep.

I'm not talking just about doors with loading screens, just open a door with no loading screen in third person, it looks super weird. Like we have telekinesis.
