[ReRELz] Immersive Chargen 1.24

I love this mod. But...but...

did poor old Jiub escape the fray? :(

With everyone in this version of the intro treating you poorly, it makes his kindness seem all the more valuable.

I tried this mod a while ago, but decided not to use it. It creates a darker, more violent atmosphere for your arrival in Morrowind, and for most of my characters, having such an amount of violence right at the start of the game just felt wrong. I'd recommend the mod to anyone who does *want* a darker atmosphere though.

Ya, I was in the same boat as you are, toon wise.

But testing wise, however, this mod does what it does and I highly recommend to any who want a darker atmosphere.

Truly an amazing mod, do you plan on making any others like this? Because this plus Darknut's GDR really help in making the world more epic.

Well i started a new Char last night(Thief/Assassin) and i really like the dark mood i got
for this character when using this mod. The dream sequence gives a even more creepy
feeling of things to come. :D

Every one should at least try this mod ones. :goodjob:

Tried it, loved it... but only for my more stealth/unfriendly character. Good work. :)

On a side note, even though i started with a Thief/Assassin...i do not see why you could
not use this with any class/type of character?

You are a prisoner untill you have entered the village Seyda Neen itself, so till then youre
character is nothing to the empire. You have no rights as far as the legion is concerned, so
the dark and depressing mood in this mod is right on the spot for a world like Morrowind
i think.

I have begun on a much larger project: The main quest.
-- I have come to the conclusion that it is best left untouched, the past is now. --

The nature of my thinking inclines me to tell you it will not be done quickly.

Multi-branching, and hopefully of interest. Expect more "dreams".

Should any of you request it, I can post a handful of abandoned mods on tesnexus (with respective readme's detailing what I was going to do with them)

Indeed. And if it turns out to be compatible with Julan Ashlander Companion mod, the future LGNPC Nerevarine mod, and Darknut's Greater Dwemer Ruins mod, that's going to be one hell of a main quest! :o

Even if it's not all compatible, still looking forward to it! :D

Just found this too, and I must say it sounds like a great idea; any mod that adds athmosphere to morrowind is great in my book

I get 2 errors while playing this mod when the big fight start:
TES3Stream Warning: Model "Meshes\w\W_Broadsword_Imperial.nif" tex not found "TX_W_Imperial_Broadsword_blade01.BMP"!
Texture Load Error!: TX_W_Imperial_Broadsword_blade01.BMP
TES3Stream Warning: Model "Meshes\w\W_Broadsword_Imperial.nif" tex not found "TX_W_Imperial_Broadsword_blade01.BMP"!
Texture Load Error!: TX_W_Imperial_Broadsword_blade01.BMP

The swords look all white as well, is this something from this mod or an other?

I also downloaded a mod on that allows you to take the boat to the Tamriel Rebuild islands (name is TR Census and Excise Travel).
This mod is not too nice combined with this mod, so im going to make a similar mod to that to be be compatible with this mod, it should be done end begin of next week as ill be away from halfway this week.

Are you using Darknut's weapons mod? If so, double-check that you have everything in it installed correctly. (See http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=933922&view=findpost&p=13522356 for more details. It's tied to either a mis-installed mesh, or one that didn't get installed at all.)

It seems okay, but I'm using Better Bodies, meaning I'm seeing completely nvde people. Couldn't you have added some clothing to them?

Haha. Same here, I found it a little awkward but still a great mod. However I am having trouble with this one part... After you get your clothes, talk to the guard about wether you've been bitten, and then talked to the next guard that opens up the first gate for you and leads you into a room with gate (Lock Level 100) it is locked and I am pretty much stuck.

Yeah, a fight should break out at that point. The guy behind the counter locks the thing, the gate gets bashed, the guard knocked out. Take his key, force the gate, and try and get out.

I found a MAJOR problem: "Legion of the Dead" items don't have meshes, and so they make a HUGE warning marker.

Oddly enough the fight never broke out.

Your not stuck. Its supposed to do that.

Talk to the guy at the counter, then go talk to the guy behind the OTHER gate.
Spoiler
Do as he says. A fight will break out and the guard you talked to will be knocked unconscious. ;) Maybe you can take the key from him now that he's unconscious.

edit: Added spoiler tags. No need to tell the /whole/ thing. Just what to do next.

I recently started a new character, and unlike the last time that I used this mod (Dunmer) have created a character with non-1 height (Altmer); when trying to speak to the guy who gives you 60 gold, he just says "Who's there?" with the Goodbye option. It seems that I am too tall for him to see me due to interference from objects in that room. I used TCL to be able to talk to him and proceed, but then had the same problem trying to talk to the guard behind the locked door.

Is this a known issue, or am I just lucky? Any suggestions?

Oh, and once again, fantastic mod -- the beginning of the game is, true to the title, much more immersive. Great work!
