[WIP] Immersive Stealing Mod

I'm planning to write an Immersive Stealing mod. I don't like the fact that the game tells you when people own things. I'd rather just take or not take things and let the chips fall where they may.

Right now, when you hover over an item that is owned by someone the info box turns red. I have discovered where this occurs in the code and I can prevent it. I can also change the E) STeal text to read E) Take. Can anyone see a problem with me doing this (from a gameplay perspective)?

I do realize that this will make all locked doors and terminals also stop appearing in red, but since you don't take a karma hit until you actually try to unlock or hack into them. I don't see this as being much of an issue.

I did notice that even after you unlock doors, they still stay red. Are there other red doors in the game that you don't have to unlock?

I seet hat potentially conflicting with the ownership concept in two ways: A) You don't know when you are about to be shot. Because this is what will happen. B) You won't know if you'd take Karma hits anymore. Both sort of an issue, thou I like the way you're thinking.

There are some homes who's doors are red and not locked, Nelson I think was one area.

the main potential problem is, as postnukehermes said... you're likely to get shot real quick.
There are large amounts of clutter marked as owned for no good reason. For example... the diner area in fort Mc'arean is littered with empty bottles and tin-cans, you're likely to get shot if you try and be nice and help pick up the trash  .
Karma is less of an issue as it has a much smaller impact than in FO3.
