Well I can assure you the camp is not in a state of slight relaxation Hi. There won't be any sparring. They're on basically full alert, with a number of them just to the south on a small hill while the rest shore up the camps defenses and keep watch. Should've told you that, sorry.

Hi, I've been interested in joining the Immortal Blood for a long time now but I just keep getting intimidated by the sheer scope of this RP. I decided I'd try to be a priest for the knights but after a long time of trying I gave up and began to think of other things I could do, slowly I began to formulate an idea, it's a bit crazy. So basically is this allowed?

The idea is this:
Spoiler

In 3e350 a man named Antonio Poe, an adventurer of Hammerfell, discovered a wreck of a ship hidden in the Alik'r desert.

He began an excavation to dig up this wreck and was constantly puzzled as to how and why the ship was in the desert. Soon however the reasons came clear, he and his men had began to explore under the deck of the ship when it happened, deep in the bowels of the ship he discovered a jewel, it glistened beautifully and was larger than a grown man. The jewel seemed to call him, closer and closer he ventured until he touched it. Upon touching it he realised his mistake, the crystal darkened and haunting screams could be heard about. The Ship began to lift up and the bodies of his men vanished deep inside the crystal, the soul stone.

Antonio Poe soon became Captain of this new ship, which became known as The Reaper. The soul stone deep inside began to power the Captain, making him stronger and stronger. At first he used The Reaper for his own gain, he began to plague the smaller villages around the Alik’r and for every person he slew the ship began to become stronger. Soon he realised though, that the stronger the ship became, the more it began to affect him. One night his chest tore open and he realised, much to his dismay, that his very heart had become a crystal. A smaller duplicate of the soul stone which powered the ship.

He learned however, that he could stop the ship from affecting him, if instead of murdering people he kidnapped them. Locking them in holding cells near the stone he noticed that they began to change, slowly becoming crystalline monstrosities before disappearing, into the stone he gathered. For a long time he began to do this until one day, he was approached by a group of men, bandits in the Alik’r, they wished to join him and soon became his crew. These men too slowly began to become crystalline monsters but the Captain used them to help gather more and more gold and allowed them to gather more souls for the ship, which sped up their transformation.

This lasted for years up until 3e401, on this day the Captain came to a realisation. He was cursed. The soul stone was affecting him and his crew more, the more he gathered souls for it and so he decided that he would not do it anymore. The ship continued to fly for years to come up far above the clouds were no-one could see it but the men of the ship slowly became aware of the ships waning power. Soon a mutiny was decided upon, First Mate Valencia, a female Bosmer, was to take command. It was on this day, in the 4th Era, Year 4, that Valencia and the men rose up.

Is this too 'out there'?

This idea is extremely cool, but I don't know if it would fit into the Timeline unless you could get some other interested players to join the subplot with you. It seems kind of bizarre, and might be better off as its own RP, though.

That's my thoughts. It's likely good as its own thing. I don't see it falling into place with everything else. It's not a bad idea, but I don't think it would fit in.

Cool idea friend, but I strongly advise against further sub plots due to the fact we've got so many as is, and all but one is inactive if not dead.

IBT folks.

Beniamus Revas has been tracked down and found. Magiku gave me admin rights today to the old forum, and I've found a few email addresses.

And?

Found Torikton too, BTW. Next the ImmortalBlood Timeline Secret Police is coming to PFA's door demanding Russian currency.

And why can't Erasmos make his own sublot. Just saying.

The Serosi plot is pretty much dead. I just left, and I'm pretty sure you and Crymson are on your way out of it too.

No one said he couldn't. Everyone just kindly pointed out that, though it was a good idea, basically all the other sub plots were dying/stalled anyways, so his own sub plot wouldn't likely get far itself. No one has denied him from starting it really.

I would stay in it longer, had there been more things to do rather than killing thugs all day. Don't get me wrong, I thought the Serosi plot was engaging, more than the main plot which I don't think I involved myself in entirely. Sad to see it go.

So the hopes of a new sublot is a bad idea due to fear of it lasting a short period of time? I would have to agree somewhat with you, but sublots are fun to do because it seperates from the overall main arc of the RP.

The various sub plots tend to tie up people and players. They've kinda been like death traps for interaction is all.

Sub plots are fun to do, but I agree with Tidus too. They tie up players in the main story, which we must remember is really why we're here. The subplots are great, but there is a main story to get through here :P
