Don't worry brah, I missed it too. It's the thread called "Siege of Rihad", about 7 topics down about 15 topics down actually actually about 20 topics down! I had been wondering what everyone was talking about too

Can't wait to read this bad boy and see what everyone has in plan!

I've been wrapped up in Star Wars: The Old Republic recently. Fortunately for you, my power supply died and my other computer (the one I'm using) doesn't have the hard drive space to run it. I believe it's still on warranty, but it'll be a while before I can get a replacement. As such I'll probably be more active for the time being.

If it's a desktop I would just go and buy a PSU from newegg. They ship ridiculously fast (I had 18 PC components show up at my door in 3 days from their East Coast warehouse.), and you can get a better PSU then what the company will send you. I bought 750W High Performance PSU by Corsair (HX750W Professional Series) for about $130. Although I do tend to try and get the best thing possible.

Since most of my guys are in Taneth, I'll be mostly using Vorandaril. Do I need to repost his character sheet or can I just post for him?

I'll also have stuff going on in Taneth, but it may not be as relevant to the siege.

As I mentioned, I'm extremely busy with work/planning the wedding and it's only going to get worse. Summer times coming, and so are the weeks with no day's off and overtime that would kill the average bear.

It's ok to have your guys in Rihad...we're literally doing nothing with Taneth or Roseguard or anywhere else. I mean if you REALLY want something in Taneth...ok but you're going to post by yourself there so it doesn't make much sense.

Phew! Sorry for dropping out at the start of the year, went overseas and all that jazz, then afterwards dropped straight into school and needed to adapt to the huge workload.

I'll be game for returning to the RP, but I've missed out on heaps, so it'd be nice if someone could help me play catch-up with what's happened. I remember one of my knights were captured some long time ago, probably forgotten about too, and there was Cyric and Morgana, though with the impending battle, they'd likely have fled Taneth to greener pastures.

Name: Alver Saryn
six: male
Age: 547
Race: Dunmer

Rank & Occupation: Wizard of Great House Telvanni, scholar, writer, military advisor
Equipment: Several sets of enchanted clothing and amulets, a large number of books
Appearance: Taller than usual and very thin with dark hair, Alver looks rather young due to powerful spells and his own natural looks.
Personality: Reclusive, paranoid and sarcastic Alver only shows trust and decency to a select few, however he has a (rather small) set of ideals and cares (slightly) more than he shows
Background: Born in the city of Port Telvannis Alver was a prodigy showing a impressive magical talent and a thirst for knowledge. However he never showed any interest for the house politics and went to Vvardenfel for research into the dwemer, where he eventually met Aryon who directed him to his mentor Divayth Fyr. Divayth accepted him as a student and after more than three decades of study under his tutelage Alver Saryn left Tel Fyr being forced to return to Port Telvannis to take care of family bussiness. With his newly aquired skills and his natural ability he soon became renowned one of the most powerful mages in Morrowind, advancing to the rank of Master after killing the previous occupant of the seat. Alver used his power and influence to promote Telvanni unity and a Morrowind wide magocracy but met no success and retired to the safer but less influential position of Wizard after having survived over 200 assasination attempts in his 14 years as a council member. In 424'th year of the Third Age he traveled to Artaeum thus missing the fall of the Tribunal and returning to his homeland just before the Oblivion Crisis where he played an important role in closing the Oblivion Gates that appeared in Telvanni lands. Afterwards he went to write about the use of magic in war and 'working' as a war mage and military advisor for the sake of testing his own tactics rather than loyalty or need of money. Alver has only recently arrived in Rihad to aid his old friend Aryon and the other Telvanni.

Hopefully this is enough, tell me if I need to PM it to someone or change it.

Been swamped with work lately, Wooly and to all I apologize for my absence. As the weekend is coming I doubt too much of my time will be taken up so I'd like to at least get in an introductory post for our boys and maybe work on the OP, fleshing it out some.

I've been rather busy as well. School has really cracked down on me, and it's time for Regional and State competition for track. I'm having a hard enough time as it is posting for OPaP and Valton.

Hopefully things will calm down in a few weeks and I can devote some time to the the IBT.

I think we should step down from our typical massive RP's after Siege of Rihad. I'm in favor of doing a few smaller Timeline RP's based on smaller more adventure oriented plot lines. Right now most of us can't dedicate the time and effort to properly do another RP on the normal IBT scale. I think a few smaller RP's based in the timeline universe would be a nice reprieve.

Not to sound discouraging but any sheet that says "so and so is the most/one of the most" anything generally doesn't work to well. And surviving 200 assassination attempts seems a bit over board.
