An Imperial City guard from Oblivion takes on a Dragon!

cut to a high curved road in Cyrodiil, just south of the Jerrall Mountains. An Imperial guard on road patrol uses his psychic powers to sense a dragon flying in from Skyrim. Getting off of his horse and unsheathing his silver sword, he charges.

"STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM!", he cries as he spots the beast and calls it to action.

The dragon dives down close to the road, knocking the guard's shield away and lifting the horse off of the ground and ascending again, only to drop the animal to its death from five hundred feet up in the air.

As the creature makes another low pass, intent on the knight this time, the man readies his hands, left arm extended... reaching.

Reaching.....

Got it! Hanging onto the bone of the dragon's right wing as it took off into the sky once more, the guard begins slicing and tearing at its webbing with his silver sword. Howling in protest, the beast begins to tumble down, closer and closer to the earth. Certain death for the both of them.

But wait! the river! There may still be a chance...

The knight clambers from the useless wing onto the creature's back, fighting the winds he scales the neck and reaches the head. Groaning, he grabs the monster's horns like reins and steers in the direction of White Gold Tower, and the river surrounding it.

In bitter silence, the two descend rapidly downward, the guard gasping for breath, the dragon attempting to think of a way it could swim out of the depths.

Before they crash and sink, the man manages to strip off his heavy armor and jump for it. As he swims to the bank, the dragon sinks like a stone, howling at first but soon dying out.

Climbing up and out of the water, the Imperial turns as the final bubble rises to the surface. Spitting, he grumbles only three words... "Hope you rot..."
Walking toward his sworn city, he is fulfilled and proud.

Oblivion guards were badass :D

An imperial city guard speaks the dragon language so ofc they can.

"Stop right there criminal scum!" Means "DAH DAH HOU DAH HEA!" which is Dan's ultimate kick attack which instantly stuns an enemy and gives them tunnel vision on your face.
