It's not through the bethesda shop. It is through the shop connected to your ESO account if you were in beta

As a game collector I'm quite impressed with the listed content, I've never been a fan of in-game bonuses, just physical collectibles like books, coins, maps, soundtracks, ect... I'm not that into Imperials either. But the artbook and the statue are worth the expense imo, I only need to know the price for the physical edition.

Hmm. I can see where people would be a bit taken aback here for sure. Especially those who wanted to play as an Imperial from the beginning. I'd be sorta annoyed too if I had to pay extra just to get my race of choice.

I won't be getting it myself. Breton and Redguard fan long time here. However I am curious now if there will be a Collector's Edition, and if that will have the Imperial Edition stuff too? As well as the usual addition physical feelies? That's the news I'm waiting for.

Honestly I expected an Imperial race eventually, just not in this manner. I figured it would come in an expansion pack.

Wait, where are people seeing this stuff about statues? Is the CE info already out? Crap, I gotta dig around now.

Yes, of course.

Zenimax. You'd better start explaining things. NOW.

I can handle the pets, the rings and even the frigging race, but the lack of communication is a dealbreaker. Leaving us to figure things out ourselves through leaks is nothing short of appalling.

Sheesh, again, monetization like this is not done by the people actually developing the game. This is done by the same publisher and umbrella-company that brought us exclusive DLC for Skyrim, and will most likely continue to do so in the future.

So nobody should go around saying how evil ZOS is as a company and then act surprised when BGS pulls something similar again with Fallout 4 or TES VI. It's the same people holding the strings. If you want to blame someone, blame Bethesda Softworks and Zenimax Media as a whole.

Regardless, I've seen this too often to know where this is going. Unless they show some plans to make all bonuses available by in-game means as well, I'll buy the cheapest version of ESO I can find, play through the lore-related content and then drop it like a hot potato. I'm not going through this again, no thanks.

Hah, don't count on it.

People can buy it already. It's as official as it gets.

I knew they were going to do something like this from the start. Why would they not? Nothing here confirms the stuff you'll get will give you an advantage. I sold my soul to this game and company ages ago. I am getting this, just so i have more options for play.

A company would have to be stupid not to take advantage of people wanting to invest more for more stuff.I am all for it. a few will be upset at the locked content for those who want to pay less, but that's how the world works. there certainly are worse contenders out there for cash grabbing. looking at skylanders for my son... ugh.

The only mistake here seem to be people trusting other people giving random links on the internet. For example, enter given ′link′ and try to return to ESo store from it. Or go official ESo site and try to find this there...

Nope, just the first paywall they promised wouldn't exist to access content.

Well, if everyone who was invited to the beta still has their initial invitation e-mail, they can follow the link to register, and it'll lead them to this store.

Again, you can not create a subdomain unless you are the owner of the domain.

Doesn't look like anything major to me. There will be faster mounts and it's one race. Probably one that will automatically unlock after you've 50 or whatever. I don't see any pay to win here and frankly everyone is just blowing this way out of proportion.

If its unlockable its not a paywall it's only a paywall if they make you have to buy the CE to get it.
