Imperial Edition Physical Box

Post » Wed Mar 12, 2014 8:03 pm

Can't find verified evidence of this so I am requesting a response with a citation to the source of the info.

If I bought the physical collectors Imperial Edition and want to play an imperial during the early access, will I be able to do so? How will they determine that I have imperial edition vs normal if the only code I have received is the early access code?

PLEASE POST SOURCE OF INFO, NOT JUST SOME CONJECTURE!

Imperial retail gets 5 days early access, standard gets 3. Official word: https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5561/kw/imperial

where in that link does it talk about the PHYSICAL box retail version? Are you implying that the imperial edition codes for early access are what make the distinction? Such information is not provided in that link.

I do not know if you read it all, but at the bottom of the text it is clear that they talk about physical aswell.

After the initial grace period customers who pre-ordered the physical Imperial Edition must enter their Imperial Pack code in the box in order to retain these items and to fully unlock the full Imperial Pack contents.

go read the patch notes of the official site, make sure to scroll down far enough to the bit about digital content.

right but does that mean that all early access gets imperial race on early access but then those who don't have the code after 5 days lose it? That doesn't make sense to me. That is what I am talking about with the code distinction. Seems like we all got early access codes and no one i know who bought retail imperial has any distinction on their account that it is anything other than standard edition...

There doesn't seem to be distinction but you got five day early access and it says that, no? Standard edition gets only three days. Retail, that is.

oh, so you want a distinction that you bought the imperial edition and not the standard.

I thought we talked about if we get access to the imperial race in early access. :teehee:

You're quite a rude little man, aren't you?

People are trying to help you and you are being snippy. Maybe you should channel that adolescent rage into doing a proper search for the information? I did, and I found the answer pretty quickly.

what are you talking about? Not only did that post not provide the data requested but it further led to an area where it also does not reside... you're very nice though.

That really is the heart of the question. I cannot find a distinction that implies i will be able to use my imperial edition features during early access and I want to make sure Amazon sent me the right code... Doesn't seem to be a good way to verify this.

The failure is with your comprehension. Nowhere in the patch notes does it say you need to have preordered to access the additional content in beta. I'm not even suree why I'm bothering to write a second message to be honest - other than someone else maybe making the same assumptions and it will hopefully help them.

EDIT: the failure is with my comprehension, you're not talking about beta. Apologies.

Troll maybe? did you even read the OP? how does the beta notes NON-validation of a thing act as verification of that thing? yikes.

I've already edited my second post - I see what you actually said now - for some reason I thought you were talking about accessing it during this upcoming beta weekend rather than headstart.

Why are people around here so quick to assume everyone is a troll?

That is how it seems isn't it? I was really hoping to find verification of that in an official form but perhaps it doesn't exist.

I want a way to verify that I will be able to play as an imperial at early access based on the early access code I have received. when the code is entered into my account it just says early access, not imperial edition early access.
