The rebels could turn out to be a bunch of misguided fools who have been lured, by nationalism and the romantic ideal of freedom, into fighting for nothing more than a noble's selfish desire for more power.

Hopefully it's like Fallout: New Vegas and I can check out what they both have to offer, but I'm leaning towards the stormcloaks because their name sounds awesome.

Well i grew out of the "allways use my l33t skillz to destroy the government" im worried about simpler things. Like public Education, Policing, keeping a regulated tax system, and other basic Services a government should supply or preform.

And that would be the Empire

The Legion. But I know more people would choose those smelly rebels.

If it's an Empire that's trying to unite Tamriel to keep the peace, then the Empire, no doubt about it.

If that is the case (the Empire is just trying to maintain order and peace) then the rebels are nothing more than prats who are pursuing power.

Chances are ...To 100% this Game(achievement Wise). I'm Going to Need to Play Both. I'll probably try the Storm cloaks first though...I got pretty sick of helping out the Empire In Oblivion XD.

Stormcloaks. Not only the name is good, I always choose rebels in games whenever possible. When playing Morrowind, I wished I could make Morrowind independent, Imperial influence free. Now in Skyrim it looks like it's my dream coming alive. Hope it's not just a faction you join to infiltrate and destroy in a quest or 2. That would be a let down...

As time drags on I keep flip-flopping.
I will have to see when the game comes out.
