Depends. I hope BGS doesn't do anything like the factions Obsidian made with F:NV. The number of factions were great, but they were all pretty [censored]. I will most likely side with Empire if they are as bearable as the rebels.

I'm going to play an Imperial. He is going to be ruthless and have no mercy to rebel scum. (Darth Vader style)
He is also going to travel by horse 90% of the time to look imperial-ish, and whenever I see a rebel I will make sure they follow order.

Well the thing is I like the Empire because they bring some semblance of order to Tamriel .Sure they can be bad guys, but I think the same can be said for every faction. But I think a united Tamriel would be pretty cool, besides if the empire left the Nords would just fighting amongst each other. Besides the Imperial legion is cool.

My character was originally going to join the Imperial Legion, but with the recent news of the banning of Talos throughout the Empire, my character is going to join the Stormcloaks instead. (Hopefully they are in support of Talos; if not, then I will personally kill them ALL!).

I will have to see how things play out in game.

My proposed character, Marr'Taan, is loosely based on a character I played in Star Wars Galaxies, who sided with the Empire.

But my character was meant to be a "bad guy", and the Empire is, well, obviously the bad guy.

I might join the Stormcloaks, because they would probably be the "bad guys", and I don't think that my character, a Bosmer, would have much loyalty to the Empire.

I really have no idea. Assuming they're both fully realized factions, I tend to be an agent of chaos. Advancement is forged in the fires of discontent, so I tend to favor more volatile solutions. At the same time, with no clearly defined "Lines" of battle, the world can stagnate just as much as it would under a regime of comfort. This caused me to favor Mr. House's solution for New Vegas, though I also liked some of Caesar's ideas, though not his approach.

Stormcloaks probably then.

I don't like the idea of any one race being in a position of widespread control, particularly the humans. I want the cultures of each province to thrive under individual sovereign rule, and not be diluted by the ideals of an Imperial Society. The Nords want their freedom, and in aiding them to take it, I'll be doing that much more to loosen the Empire's already failing grasp on Tamriel!

I don't know if the Empire is corrupted and what the rebels objectives are, so I can't make a decision yet.

I can't vote until I understand what each stands for and the get a feel what the repercussions for each winning would be.
