Anyone know if thats gonna be back, one of my favorite questlines in Morrowind was the imperial legion quests the armors u got were awesome the quests were awesome, any rumors on it?

I also missed not having them in Oblivion, and I believe it may get a comeback. It does fit the seting of the story for the Legion to be fighting the rebels who want to secede the empire. We might get the choice to side with the rebels and fight the empire's forces.

Apart from confirmation of Dark Brotherhood, there is no information on guilds at all, unfortunately.

The only confirmation other than the Dark Brotherhood being in, is the confirmation the the Mages and Fighters guild will not be in the game. Instead the Mages have split into two different guilds, but we dont know which are playable, and we will probably get a Fighters guild replacement with a new name as well.

We'll have to wait and see. :mellow:

we should be getting answers to our ask the developers questions thing that was up days ago. so maybe some guild info will be released

Yep, they are definitely keeping us in the dark. Hopefully they have some interesting stuff, and are keeping it for a big reveal sometime.

I doubt it personally. I dont think guilds will be covered, but instead general gameplay. I could be proven wrong though.

If they've been holding off due to tweaking some of the factions, etc., I would imagine at this point they should be pretty decided which factions will be in the game, no?

I'm sure there are a lot of mechanics and smaller details they are still playing around with, but I would be surprised if they are still coming up with any entirely new factions between now and their content lock date.

I hope so too. The Imperial Legion Faction should have been in Oblivion, we were right in the capitol of the Empire after all. Plus with the cover art being a legionnaire in front of the Oblivion Gate. I used mods eventually to play a legion commander for one of my characters but I'd rather not have to wait for mods to come out to join the Legion or the Imperial remnants.

EDIT: And I hope they bring back the Romanesque Legion Armor from Morrowind.
