Anyone have a problem with this? I do. I ALWAYS play Imperial and this added and might I add unnecessary ability will make it even easier to amass wealth. Ugh.

I think it's amazing. I usually don't play Imperials, but i'll have an Imperial playthrough in Skyrim.

I'm just saying. I hope they take it out or make it a single use power that lasts for a little bit and then you have to wait to use it.

I don't like powers that make no sense. Being able to stealthily and successfully pickpocket more items makes enough sense, but in looting you have as much time as you want and there's no need to be careful picking up a coin purse, it makes no sense for Imperials to get more.

That's some awesome trolling right there. I just don't see how anyone could gripe about something like this.

Maybe Imperials have a knack for finding peoples hidden coin purses? The one's that some hide on their person from bandits? Just a thought :D

I don't have an issue with it really.

Who cares they get some more money.

Anyone can get lots of money so find alternative ways of getting rich.

I completely understand why they did this. As someone who reads a great deal of lore and knows the Gods and there blessings. I too would smile down on the people who force there belief in me. It could much more be put in official lore than taking away "High Elf" Weakness to magicka.

If you don't understand this than you are just ignoring the point of it. You have to see they did it as a game decision and as a way to show you how skilled at making a fortune the most successful race in TES.

Why do people go into threads just to ask "who cares"?
Obviously the OP cares about it, hence why they asked. Asking who cares comes off as very rude.

What it means is that instead of finding 100 gold in a chest, you might find 150 gold, it honestly isn't that big of a deal and i think its cool.

Do we really need another thread that's going to devolve into "I personally get too much gold and Bethesda needs to add these tweaks into the game to please me, like setting your sell rate to 6% value etc, etc, etc"?

And this is an issue because?

Do people know how easy/hard it is to make money in this game? Do people know to what degree this affects money making? No?..... ... That's what I thought........

It's a way of simulating this:

Though less physically imposing than the other races, the Imperials are shrewd diplomats and traders

Nothing wrong with the makers of the game realizing their lore through features.

And after playing fallout and New Vegas and NEVER getting rich, perhaps the economy of Skyrim will follow suit? You might be damn happy to have that ability when your struggling to buy anything worth a damn. I know I took the scrounger perk where you find more money in fallout and still never really was rich.

Edit: If you watch the video, Todd only has 140 gold and he's level 30 ish? That is a hint that the economy will be harder than in Oblivion and more like fallout I bet.

Having a chest magically spew out extra gold is not a good way to simulate being a good diplomat or trader.

You call that magic? I want to know how your average character manages to cram hundreds of pounds of stuff down his pants.

I agree its good to see lore translated to mechanics... but in Fallout NV I have 1,500,000 caps and climbing rapidly, so I guess playstyle matters alot :)
