Does anyone know where I can find an Imperial Officer Helmet? You know, except at the start of the game.

That's the only one I've seen. Shouldn't have sold it for the $$$; would have been a nice trophy.

Theres one in fort kastavs captains quarters.

From Riften, go east. There are some looters there who have stolen armour from fallen warriors. One of them wears an imperial officer helmet. Near the black briar's lodge.

That's a random encounter, it could happen anywhere where random encounters are found.

Stormcloak Helmets are the same as Guard Helmets

Well as already said, Check Forts of the Legion. But there is a better type of Legion helmet then the officer one

The helmet with the horse-head crest? If so, I agree that's probably the most epic piece of armor I've seen and it's perfect for roleplaying as an Imperial soldier (makes you feel elite and different from the other generic Imperials... Which you should, because you're Dovakiin).

I believe there's one in the East Empire Company Warehouse, but this is only accessible after a certain point in the Thieves' Guild quest, so it may be difficult.

yea east of RIften thaere are 'scavengers' who wear stormcloaks armor and imperial officer helms.

I saw a crested imperial helmet left as an offering at a shrine of Talos south of High Hrothgar. I was near the edge of the map (only time I've seen the "You can't go that way" message). Near an ancient Nord tomb. Sorry can't remember the name.

Are you reffering to the one like the guards in Oblivion were, with the black mohawk thing in the center?

If so:

When you do the theives guild quest and get to the part where you corner Gulem Ei in that one big room then there is one on the shelf to your right.
Also for Kilreath Temple, aka the temple underneath Meredia's shrine, there is one when you first enter

Also if you side with Ralof in the begining to kill that stupid captain she wears one as does Leggate Rikke.

There are other locations too but those are the ones at the top of my head

then I fund one right next to a dead Imperial Legate (a desecrated corpse) just a few steps inside Kilkreath Temple, which is directly under Meridia's Shrine. Wicked helm; it looks awesome
