An Imperial Wielding Nord Hero Weapons

Post » Thu Nov 21, 2013 6:33 am

Does it seem weird for an Imperial (my Ranger, for example) to wield Nord Hero weapons? Sword and Gretasword, specifically.

I recently switched over from my trusty Silver sword to the Nord Hero sword because I can smith it to legendary with the Steel Smithing perk. I also picked up the greatsword to vary my fighting style a bit (though it will take some time to level, haha). I like the looks of them better than the other vanilla weapons (and most weapons in Immersive Weapons) for his style.

Just a random thought.

I don't think it is weird. Nord weapons are not magically bound to anything. Also, considering Talos was a Nord to begin with (or a Breton, nobody is entirely sure), and created the Empire (on behalf of the Imperials, I might add), Nords wouldn't have an issue with the Imperials, just with the Empire.

Not weird at all. I always pick which weapons look best for my character and their combat style.

I agree, there's nothing wrong with that.

Like I said, just a random thought.

Nord Hero greatsword is just so sixy, haha.

Just as much as a Nord using Elven weapons, nothing wrong with it.

It's especially true if your Imperial's a Dragonborn, a traditional Nord hero.

Besides, I own a wakizashi, that doesn't make me Japanese.

It's not kosher at all.

Theme equipment only for those that they are aimed for... No Nord wearing Falmer stuff, no Altmer going with Helm of Yngol..

It would be like the Pope starting to use the Sikh turban.
