» Thu Sep 01, 2016 4:01 pm I started a brand new game because my old one's save corrupted rendering it unplayable. This time around I updated everything and chose to use HDT mods with some new overhauls. I've been testing for months and have finally chosen all my mods and they seemed to be behaving together until I loaded a weather mod. CoT wouldn't work so I chose Pure Weathers to test out currently (not supposed to be performance hungry).
So, I started a new playthrough on a cleaned load order and I'm getting some weird glitches I've never seen before.
On occasion, my character gets stuck entering Helgen Keep, in the beginning, and can't move ("epc" rectifies this). However, now I'm finding important NPC's aren't appearing in game. For instance, the first time player approaches Whiterun, the Companions are engaging a loose Giant, only my last playthrough the Giant was missing and the Companions were just standing there.
Also, when entering Whiterun for the first time, a Battleborn is dealing with the blacksmith regarding a large order that is needed, however, in my last playthrough, the Battleborn isn't there and Adrianne is talking by herself!
Oh, BTW, I still seem to have vanilla rain.
I'm stumped...I've never seen these problems before in my year of playing Skyrim. Anybody know what might be causing this? It makes the game unplayable and I'm getting tired of starting over to fix an unstable save file. Any help would be appreciated.
