I have an Xbox 360 copy of Morrowind (non GOTY), my plan is to play the game and get a fantastic character going then buy the GOTY edition and start playing Solsthiem.

My question is:

Is it still possible to move from NON GOTY to GOTY edition on the Xbox 360 and still retain your save file?

Yes.
But you might as well start with GOTY, since it fixes a lot of bugs in the game.

On the XboX does the user have the option, when playing GOTY to play only Bloodmoon and not Tribunal? On the PC its as easy as unchecking a box before the game starts which is desirable for a few reasons. If the same were possible on the XboX you might as well buy the GOTY and not 'activate' Bloodmoon or Tribunal and use that.

But I don't know if that's an option.

I don't think it's possible to disable Tribunal and Bloodmoon on the Xbox GotY edition. Those assassins are gonna be annoying lol

AWESOME! Thank you all!
I was seriously worried because I read that it wasn't thank you all for clearing that up!

I would seriously advise against attempting to obtain any fun from morrowind on the 360 - the framerates make it virtually unplayable in alot of areas. If you have to go the console route, I would strongly suggest playing the original xbox version

When you get GOTY, save a lot. It crashes all the time on the 360.

Um, I am having fun playing it on the 360.

Seems to depend on your disk. I have owned several, some of which crashed repeatedly, but others did not.

The Frame Rate on the Xbox 360 is better then on the Xbox and The PC so actually the 360 is the best system to play it on there is absolutely nothing bad or wrong with the 360 emulating the Xbox and playing it.

And

I have a TON of fun on the 360!!!

And

My cousin has GOTY and plays it on his 360 all the time and it hasn't crashed once

On my disk, the ground constantly dissappears beneath my feet and the game freezes and such. Which is why I later bought it on the PC

thats a complete lie - the 360 framrate is terrible, much much worse than the original xbox, and infinitely worse than the pc.

That is NOT a complete lie you just happen to not take care of you games perhaps, on my console it plays better then on the original Xbox and it plays the same as on the PC the only preference I have to Xbox is the better Frame Rate and the easier controls as apposed to the PC's Key Board/Mouse combo.

The frame-rate on the 360 is fine and has only crashed on me a handful of times.

Also, how do you play a non-goty save on the goty edition on the 360?

You don't. Instead you use a non-GOTY edition of the game.

i played a character on the 360 non goty, some places do have bad fram rate, the televani council chamber svcks as well as the heart chamber. I couldn't take a non goty save and play it on the goty disk, so unless they changed it id just play the goty

That's alright then. I hate to think I completed the MQ and did everything all over again for nothing on the GOTY Edition..

Morrowind on Xbox 360 constantly crashed, so I would advise against buying it.
