A important warning 4 ps3 users

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 2:19 am

ok heres a message to all ps3 users (unless you have the new slim)
DO NOT USE THEM for at least 24 hrs. Why? because all big ps3s wont go on psn and data dissapears. Ive now lost all my trophys and the DLCs i had. The same will happen to you

to be fair, the data will probably be restored from a backup tomorrow, when the bug should fix itself, so it's not that bad.

Only with the fat versions. Sony released a statement saying none of the slim PS3's are affected.
Also, they are working on the problem now, as it is something to do with the latest patch they released.

I've heard rumours of a fix being ready for tomorrow, but so far thats just a rumour...for now AVOID buying any games for the PS3, as you will not be entitled to your money back, as it is your PS3 thats at fault not the game.

Just keep googling everyday, and hope for the best.

Because sony is a company who aren't exactly new to the whole idea of technology. They screwed up - but if they don't have backups, they have much bigger problems than an inability to write simple date calculations.

Nooooooooooooooo! I wanna cry for you lol. Seriously though its a stupid mess! Its not just not being able to play stuff its the whole wondering what will be left when you next go on it. Funny when you realise just how much free time goes into gaming, and how lost you are without it :shakehead:

Please use this thread about the issue; http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=1079445

EDIT: The issue is fixed now and all PS3s should work.
