Impossible to do the Quest "The Wolf Queen Awakened"

Post » Tue Jun 19, 2012 9:45 am

"The courier event is dictated by leveling up so if the player is maximum level (81) when you complete http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/The_Man_Who_Cried_Wolf the courier will not deliver the message and the player will never receive this quest."

I was already hit max level 81 when I did the pre-requisite quest, now I will never get a courier to deliver any letters not to mention do this quest. svcks because it looks fun.

He shouldn't have to. It's a flaw in the game design. Hopefully Bethesda will fix it.

A GameFaqs user recommended that I pickpocket Falk Firebeard to activate the quest. I pickpocketed him, got the letter but it didn't activate the quest. I went to talk to him and he doesn't give me any new dialogue for the quest. It's official I'm SOL on this one until Bethesda patches this, IF they patch it. :(

Not to mention the "Letter from Falk Firebeard" is a stuck Quest item. Are you F'ing kidding me!!!.

So now I have:

Strange Amulet
Gallus's Encoded Journal
Letter From Falk Firebeard
Attunement Sphere (2)
Finn's Lute
Rjorn's Drum
Runed Lexicon

Permanently stuck in my inventory.

Not to mention the following stuck Misc Quests:

Collect Bounty from Skald (listed 4 bloody times!!!!!)
Ask Aldis for information about Angeline's daughter (Quest marker pointing to ground)
Speak to Verulus about the Hall of the Dead (Stuck even after completing the Daedric quest)
Visit the College of Winterhold (Persuaded to skip First Lessons and enchanting Fear on the ground)
Find Pantea's Flute. (Gave the flute to her and this is still stuck)

I'm not sure if Bethesda is even reading the forums. Or even acknowledging these problems.
It's quite painful to see fans taking their time to report on bugs and glitches especially notable and common ones and there is not addressing of "we're looking into it pr it's going to be fixed".
No feedback at all. I understand this is a very large game, but at least respond to these problems.
I can understand new content being created but this is just infuriating being a console gamer to encounter so many bugs and glitches.

I don't want to play this game anymore. :(

Bethesda does have A LOT to fix in this game still. I'm expecting a half dozen to a dozen more patches required to fix this game and have it perform as it should. If they hope to not have that many patches then the next few patches can't break a single thing (every one of them has broken something) and the patch notes better be huge.
