"Improved" support for remapped keys in workshop mod

So I opted in to the beta patch when I saw the item for improved support for remapped keys in workshop mode. I fire up the game, head into workshop mode, and discover that the unused "E" key for selecting/confirming no longer works. Checking the key binding settings, I see that there's still no way to change the keys for storing or scrapping from their defaults.

As a left-handed mouse and keyboard user, I strongly prefer using the arrow keys for movement, and mapping my other keys to ones that are close to those, so I don't have to do complicated hand contortions or move my hands from the positions that I find most comfortable (we're talking a 20 year habit on this) in order to play. At the moment, I either have to remap the "Activate" and movement keys back to their defaults, stretch my right hand from the arrows and enter key over to reach "Tab" and "R" and autorun, or take my left hand from my mouse.

All of this means that I spend far more time than I should (or any right-handed player does) cleaning up the settlement junk, all because I can only remap about half of my keys, and each patch seems to make it more difficult to play with non-default key bindings--the first post-release patch disabled using the number pad for quick slot items, even it those keys weren't mapped to anything.

Seriously. Let us bind all of the game functions to whatever keys we want. Hard-coded key bindings are bad.
