Imventory and horses

Every beta video i watch i see one thing thats the same every single time besides the game just looking amazing and thats bag space issues. I see lower level players always stopping and making space and destroying items. Brings me to my next question.

What does destroying items actually do in this game? Do you get crafting supplies, gold?

Also we get to use out horse to hold items as well correct? I saw a guy upgrading his horse. He can do it once a day, real time? Or game? Choose stamina, speed, bag spacr. So in theory the lower cost horse can be just as good as the higher ones? The higher cost horses seem like they just have an added bonus. My question is the added bonus is that always there or can you make any horse the same with time? For example i buy the horse that has 10 extra bag space, will that horse always have that ten extra?

And with the imperial edition. How will this work. Once i see a stable i go and grab my free horse?

Lastly what about horse colors. How do you choose them? I want black of course.

1st: Destroying items by any other means than the "Extract" option at a craftion station gives you nothing

2nd: I don't know how horses' stats work

3rd: When you have the imperial edition, you go to a stable where you can buy your imperial horse for 100 gold

4th: Don't know about colors either

You buff your horse by feeding it. You can feed once every 24 hours and, I think, apples make it faster, wheat gives stamina and oats add a slot to carry stuff.
