How is this going to work..?

Yeah, I hear the Solder can upgrade his Give Ammo ability to give Incendiary ammo. Heard a little about Armor Piercing, but not much.

I'd imagine incendiary ammo is just that. If you damage an enemy, they're suddenly on fire.
