Hi everyone!

I've exhausted my efforts to try to fix this through endless Google searching and downloading this and that but to no avail. I have an Alienware 17 with an onboard Intel HD 4600 and a dedicated nVidia GeForce GTX 800M. Steam recognizes the nVidia card as well as the Skyrim launcher but Skyrim fails to write the information into the SkyrimPrefs.INI nor process the correct RendererIno within the Skyrim documents.

Has anyone had any luck fixing this or know how?
