Increase in ai activity

Post » Sun Feb 20, 2011 9:24 pm

What I mean by this is that I want to see ai doing a lot more things. Like maybe guards gathering up in town and getting ready to storm a bandit filled cave. You could also join if you wanted to. Or maybe, you stumble upon a group of hunters preparing for a big hunt, which you could also join.

Also some thieving NPCs should go sneak into houses at night and steal stuff, and they should do this in a non obvious way, unlike in oblivion.

Come up with some other things that ai could do to breathe in more life to the NPCS.

I like the idea, but having them do that on their own would take up computing resources like crazy (I think, I'm no tech wizard). It would be cool to have some values like Oblivion's responsibility and aggression and such. Maybe they could tweak the system to make this happen.

Random encounters would be great though. I there were dozens of them that could take place, the same effect could be achieved.

Edit: I just remembered the topic I was going to make.

I suggested this in another thread, but I really want to see people care about dead bodies lying in the street.

I'd love to see guards pick up and 'dispose' of bodies in the appropriate manner. I.e. take them to a morgue type place.

I'd also like to see random NPC's stealing from dead bodies in the wild.

How could you distinguish between a glitch that eats your item and an npc broke in and took your full set of daedric?

Have a handful of thieves that leave a key mark. Like for kicks and giggles whenever I completely emptied a store of it's contents, I'd leave a rusty dagger or something similar. As both a marker that says "already been done" and some fun. It could also lead to either a "Join the thieves" quest, or a "Find those dirty thieves" quest.

There could be a note in the console. Open console, enter "showtheft" or sth, and see a list of all items that were stolen and when.
