Increasing S.P.E.C.I.A.L?

I was just wandering, since in F4 we start off with a lot less Special skills (28 instead of 45 I believe) will there be consistent ways to increase your specials in game?

I know that there'll probably be bobble heads, but those will surely only get you up to 35 (1 extra point in each)

This left me thinking there must be other ways of increasing your Special skills. Possibly after so many levels you are given another point to use; would this be too OP? Maybe there are quests you can do that give the reward of a point in a certain Special skill.

Is there anything confirmed that you know about? Are we just given these 35 points and that's it? If not do you have any more ideas as to how they might be increased.

The most common theory is that you can simply use the perk point you get every level to increase your attributes.

There's a whole topic dedicated to this very thing. You may want to check this out. http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1529938-skill-perk-line-up-speculation/

Bobble Heads are one way.

Bionic, Cybernetic, Robotic, whatever implants might also increase SPECIAL attributes.

Speculation on the leveling system seems to imply that every time a character levels up, a point is given that can be used for either a perk, or a SPECIAL attribute.

Thus, a character could potentially increase their SPECIAL attributes instead of adding points to perks.

Yep I had a more thorough read through that topic and found what I wanted to know.

Turns out it is just that you get a point when you level up and you can put that either into a perk or into increasing a special skill... That's way less exciting than getting it as a quest reward :(
