Indoril Armor in Skyrim

Post » Tue Aug 09, 2011 4:40 pm

How can there be living Dunmer in Skyrim and not even one set of Indoril Armor shipped over from Morrowind during the time of the Nerevine-Saint-Nerevar-Indoril? It doesnt makes sense. The dwemer made it! I say there should be Indoril Armor in Skyrim.

Indoril Armor has the face masks and the centurion crest on the helm. That alone made it drool worthy. A helmet that was like a mask. Not some silly old man Clauvicus Vile mask or something as troublesome as the Gray Fox mask... I mean Im not asking for a recreation of Majora's Mask. A mask shop would be nice though.

What do you think?

I would only want it in if it was a unique set of armor with only one in the game.

The armor is sacred to them, hence when you wear the armor and go up to a guard in Vivec, they go bananas over you and start rambling how the armor is sacred and you should die.

Unless you mean a different armor..

Perhaps there will be an Ordinator refugee near the Morrowind border still wearing his armour... but I doubt it.

(But it'd be so cool and nostalgic if there were! ^_^ )

Lore wise Morrowind is gone. It lays at bottom of the sea.

So no one will care if Indoril Armor is sacred or not, cos they're all dead. And the dunmer dont have the law on their side in Skyrim to assert that you cant wear it. Actually if dunmer went nuts over a Nord wearing it would be classic! And yes it must be a unique armor set, a relic from the past.

That's actually a good idea, they said there is a town which has been influenced by the Dunmer heavily (I forgot which one) so it's likely filled with Dunmer refugees.

I'd love to see a set of it, especially since one of my planned characters is Indoril and a devout follower of what's left of the Tribunal Temple. But I'm not too worried; it was popular armor and if it's not in game I'm sure there will be a mod soon enough.

They are no Ordinators in Skyrim?? So why would there be Indoril armor. No, I'd rather like to see new things.

Only if it's added to the leveled lists so all bandits start wearing it at level 20 :3

No as a relic from the past, something wear. Some of us like the look of it... no I take that back, A LOT of use LOVE the look of it and we'd like to have it available. You dont have to use it, but its nice that its there and Indoril Armor is some of the best looking armor in a Elder Scrolls game. Its better looking than Knights of the Nine armor, its better looking than Imperial Dragon Champion Armor. It needs to return.

Have to disagree with you there, the Crusader's Relics are my favorite armor in an ES game to date.

But how does that benefit an XBOX 360 fan?

I don't see why the couldn't put it in as a secret/ rare item. The Dunmer refugee connection you make could be a possibility.

I suppose it would be neat if there was a mission where Indorils reach Skyrim for some important reason to protect some general sage dude from Vivec or something.

That was my second favorite set of armor in Morrowind. I'd love to see it return. It would be cool to add a back story to the armor, such as maybe it could be the personal set of the Nerevarine, handed down through the generations as a prized heirloom.

It was my favorite set of armor from Morrowind 3. I just think Bethesda shouldn't abandon something that brings a lot of value to our gaming experience.

I hope Skyrim has a version of every type of armor ever featured in the Elder Scrolls series. That would be awesome!
