This has got to be the most frustrating, irritating bug!
I am totally able to crawl out of the vault as a newborn.
Background.....watch the intro-vid, watch being "born", get to select gender, name, appearance, then "mom" goes into cardiac arrest, I get wisked out of the room(or so I thought), screen
goes white, and upon fading back in, this is where it gets weird........I'm still in the delivery room, alone, and free to leave the vault!!

Do you have any mods running?

No I don't, I completely removed the entire contents of FO3, deleted all my "old saves", re-installed the game, X2

I tried to start a fresh game,.........jokes on me I guess, can't start any fresher LOL(infant escapes vault......Details at 11:00)


But seriously, I've heard about this shortly after the launch of FO3, however, I can't find hide nor hair about it now.

No problem people............Thanks for the huge assistance, as it turns out, the problem was in fact WINBLOWS7!

For some odd reason WINBLOWS7, rearranged the intro vid with the final beginner vid, and subsequently fragged almost the entire game.

My only solution.......Boot into Vista(BLARGH!!), start a fresh FO3, reboot into Win7, copy Vista saves to Win7 Documents, and now it's all good.
