Info Compendium

Post » Fri Apr 09, 2010 10:07 am

Yes, before you troll, I'm new to the forums although I've been browsing without an account for a month or so.

Anyway more to the point, I'd like to encourage people to read the FAQ topic and also the Info Compendium as many of the topics
posted on this forum are pointless repeat topics which can be avoided by reading these topics before posting.

Thanks.

I was thinking about more or less the same thing. A lot of topics and ideas seem to come back every once in a while.

Btw, here's the link the to FAQ: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1113952-brink-faq/

Cheers, I'm just sick of seeing repeat posts all day.

By the way, thanks for being friendly, it's a rarity on forums these days. :D

I would actually suggest taking a look at H0RSE's newest compendium.

The v2 he has here is quite old, because he left these forums a while back.

Another example of welcoming at this forum, thank you.

I was unaware that it was outdated, I will change the link. :)

Repetitive topics can be a problem, at least when they show up with some frequency. If it's been a few weeks since the matter has been discussed or the member has a new twist on the subject there's nothing wrong with having a fresh thread. If it's something that shows up more often the best way for regulars to respond to this is with a welcome and a link to the recent discussion - and the FAQ or other appropriate sources.

I don't really see the need to discuss the matter, in fact it's covered in the second post of the FAQ. We also don't need a thread advertising the Info Compendium, it's covered in the fansite thread.
