how to make ingot's?

Take ore to a furnace/smelter (I forget exactly what it's called in game).

Closest one that comes to mind is right beside/behind the blacksmith in Whiterun.

For reference, smelters are those big dome-shaped furnaces with a single opening in front, you can see one at the Warmaiden's in Whiterun.

Gather yourself some ore, go up to it, select the appropriate ingot choice from the list. Only ingots you can make will be brightened, just like how the other kinds of crafting works.

You can find ore as loot, from blacksmith shopkeepers, and from ore veins out in the world (but you need to have a pickaxe to mine it).

Find yo ass a smelter. Smelt that [censored].

Where so you usually find ore? I want to make elven weapons but have yet to come across quicksilver. In fact i only remember seeing ore veins once so far.. In a troll nest.

You can also find it randomly in the world, however unless it's rare ores it's just a bonus.

You're better off checking the blacksmith's stock for some, saves time, especially when you realize just how much time you spend hacking away at ore veins. They'll also have plenty of ingots, though they're much more pricey than ore, especially for the upper-tier materials.

There's otherwise a list of known sites on uesp.net, if you search on there for mining.

Beyond that, explore the mountains a bit and especially any mines you can find. Ore veins can be on the walls, too, not just on the ground.
