99 ingots The Pitt

Post » Sat Sep 25, 2010 4:29 am

Ok, I've back tracked and rechecked every location...one darn ingot short. Is there anyway to cure this via console or should I just chalk it up as something to do better in the next play through? :confused:

I just completed The Pitt a couple of days ago and was in the same boat - found 99 of the ingots. It turned out I had missed one in the Supply Plant, in the pile at end of that tunnel where you fight a few Wildmen, one or two of whom usually have flamers. One of them was kind of hard to find the first time around. You could try double checking there.

If you want to console in that last ingot, the command is player.additem xx0032de 1, where xx is the two digit hex code corresponding to the load order for The Pitt DLC. This should in most cases be 01, 02, 03, 04 or 05.

:ninja:

I forgot the one by the bed with the unique Auto Axe on it once. I was too busy playing with the pitching machine.

I love that pitching machine - kind of hard to get a good hit, but a lot of fun trying. :toughninja:

Kind of off the subject but still DLC related - do you know if FWE "fixes" the Operation Anchorage Gary 23 exploit? I just finished Anchorage up tonight, and had decided to try the Gary exploit for the first time, just to say I did it. :hubbahubba: Couldn't make it work, though.

I noticed there was a lot of extra gear in the armory, and wondered if FWE gave you that stuff and made the glitch impossible, or if I just screwed up putting Gary in the pod. I'm betting on me screwing up. :facepalm:

Next time I think I'll steal your tactic and kill all the Outcasts before entering the sim, and then just pile 'em all in there with me. They all died anyway after the mutiny.

@Gator:

I believe I was using FWE one time when I used the Outcasts to help me bring some extra gear back so it should still work. Gary by himself can slip out of position even if he's lined up right when you first get in. Did you save right before getting yanked back to reality? It can take a few tries to get the timing down.

FWE does add some extra gear to the armory. I never tried any of it but it sounded nice :)

I did save right before getting sent back - tried about a dozen times to access Gary and finally just gave up. Next time I'll "recruit" a few Outcasts to help me out. :yes:

I just don't like playing O:A any more - I've played it too many times and it's boring. The only reason I play it is for the gear, and to stock up on Outcast power armor.

I'll try some of the new stuff out. Some of the items included alloy steel 10 mm pistols, assault rifles and shotguns. These items have the "new" textures and, I'm guessing, at least a few more health points than their wasteland counterparts. Also, you get a copy of Jingwei's outfit, plus the winterized combat armor you use in the sim.

You can also get Winterized Combat Armor from the Quartermaster :whistling:

I don't mind Anchorage if I haul a couple buddies along with me. We play games like "rob the BoS of their power armor and replace it with Lamplight outfits" :) What drives me crazy is the sounds of the guns inside that big building with the dragoons. Headache city.
