Definitely worth checking out

Inon Zur was nice enough to play the Fallout 4 theme from his home. Additionally, we've got two tracks for the official score on SoundCloud. Check it out!

Totally awesome! I really like The Last Mariner.

EDIT: Looks like I'm not the only one :)

Nice. I really like the Fallout 3 main theme, and the subtle changes to it for Fallout 4 are enough to make it different, but still familiar.

The marketing is gently warming up isn't it?

It's all around the game (no spoilers) such as Dogmeat and now some music, so this launch is not happening un-hyped...

Very nice.. Music (especially background music) is usually taken for granted and goes weirdly unnoticed sometimes. It's nice when it and the composer get some focus. At points, during games like this, it is interesting to turn the music volume completely down and run around in the silence for awhile. It is amazing how big a difference music can make. Sometimes the silence makes an area feel a lot more creepy..other times it can do the opposite and an area you felt was creepy no longer feels as creepy.

I'm going to be nice and just say it really doesn't do anything for me. As background music I am curious as to what environment that would be played in.

Possibly an environment that does something for you, mixed with some music that doesn't do anything for you. :)

They really stepped up their game for the soundtrack this time. Those tracks sound fantastic! Just what I want from a Fallout soundtrack - although I wonder if any ambient tracks will have a rhythmic element to them.

Love it.

Also, liked the peek into Inon Zur's creative process. :)

Can't say I'm impressed. The theme is just a rehash of the F3 theme (in fact it sounded near enough identical to me) and The Last Mariner did absolutely nothing for me?.

It's cool. It's no Skyrim OST, but I've only heard two tracks.

Please tell me they'll release a Four disc box set for the Fallout 4 soundtrack. The one they did for Skyrim was gorgeous!

same can be said for MGS II, III and IV compared to the original MGS. Its about having what is familiar to your fans, but at the same time polishing and renewing it abit. Personally i find the Fallout 4 soundtrack we've heard so far to be amazing, and really a step up compared to FO3. This can only be a good thing.

Yes Zur, AGAIN!. Love his work. Check out Dragon Age Origins soundtrack and you'll see his brilliance. Also his work on Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas was awesome.

The new theme feels sadder, somehow. The way the Fallout 3 theme is mixed in brings back that ominous feeling, but the lighter tones feel bittersweet. Feels like loss.

A good match for the Sole Survivor.
