Thanks, I'll be waiting to hear from you then :D

I just realized how disturbing your profile pic is... :P

That he's trying to escape from the inside of a skeletal creature as opposed to wearing one as a suit? :whisper:

Thanks heaps, because now that's all i can see. :stare:

Edit: Or being consumed

In my opinion, TES series are still the best games ever made. I know I will always enjoy an Elder Scrolls game, regardless of reviews or any gameplay flaws. As soon as the announcement for TES V comes out, I will be completely ecstatic and will pre-order it as soon as possible. Then I will hold on tight to the receipt and never let go until it is time to prove that my copy is mine. I lost my Fallout 3 GOTY edition receipt and am worried that they won't be able to identify my purchase. My birthday is a few days after the GOTY edition's release, which worries me more as my only birthday gift may not arrive to me on time.

You got that right. ^_^

Yes, you are a complete and utter loon. Now, what was the question again?

:biglaugh: lol

Well, while I don't disagree with your decision to purchase right away, don't get too caught up in the pre-release hype. Speaking as someone who lurked as a guest around here during the Oblivion pre-release time-period, people (me included) were setting their expectations immensely high (aided and abetted by developer statements, dev diaries, and demo footage). And then when the game actually came out, it was a huge letdown to the game we had already established in our minds.

I was one of those with high expectations and certainly wasn't disappointed .

Agree with you there. Oblivion was the first ever game I've actually pre-ordered. And while it had some disappointments, it also blows most other games out of the water, imo. I'll be pre-ordering TES 5, as well.

I agree, I hope that they have some kind of awesome Champion edition with lots of maps and whatnot, I used the maps packaged from oblivion and shiverring isles to decorate my room. :coolvaultboy:

Prior to Oblivion, any TES game had a guaranteed release day purchase by me. Never again.

I'm kind of with, ThatOneGuy on this one.

I will buy a TES game without question, TES is something special to me now, I'm in too deep. At this point there's Gaming, and then there's The Elder Scrolls, it almost a whole separate thing. It's not just the game, it's this community, it's everything. There's no going back, I'm past the event horizon of the TES universe.

Even if TES:V is a crappy game by all standards, I'll buy it, and play it too, at the very least, so that when I come here, to express my disappointment, my arguments will be thought thoroughly through, and people will be able to see where I'm coming from, and where I'm going with it.

The great thing about bethesda is that even if their game has bugs/isn't what it should of been it will be fixed by modders.

If Bethesda ever got rid of their games modding capabilities the TES series would die a slow painful death.

No, it wouldn't. Us console players don't have that capability, but we love the game Bethesda made. It annoys me that people would buy an Elder Scrolls game just to mod it. The game itself is wonderful and Bethesda is the genius behind it, not modders.

I'm also sold to the TES series now...unless there's no Construction Set.

With Fallout 3, I waited until the day the GECK was released to purchase the game. The same will go with TESV.
If there's no CS, I'm not buying the game. Since, eventually, I'll get bored with the game and I'll want something new. And without the CS, that'll be pretty difficult.
Besides, Morrowind modding and Oblivion modding is still going strong. And I have Daggerfall to play with as well. :D

Are you insane? Only you can answer the question. Are you a TES fan? I guess so. ;)

I will buy the next TES and FO as soon as they are available. Beth make the best games, and from Oblivion and FO3 which I love, they deserve my unquestioned 'buying' of their games. I bought Oblivion and FO3 as soon as they were out, and I will continue doing so for all their games. Maybe even make it a family tradition :goodjob:
