I am so insanely excited...

Post » Sun Sep 25, 2011 3:09 am

While I realize that an INSANE amount of improvement could go on within Skyrim, there simply isn't enough time, I'm still crazily excited. For the first time since Mabinogi, I'll feel like it's my second life. I can live ENTIRELY as a villager. I can be a war priest, or a battlemage. I can literally do pretty much whatever I want with some exceptions I want. Sure, the draw might not be fantastic, textures could use some work, but the game as a whole is just so amazing. Even through the MASS amounts of negativity and Morrowind-was-better people on this forum, I still retain my excitement. Now, I'm going to go change my pants...

That made me laugh. Thank you. Also, I'm really excited about the draft horses.

I can literally do WHATEVER I want.

The smart-ass in me just loves statements like these, just to point out things that they/it/you can't do.
Example: The PS3 slogan at the end of every commercial("it only does EVERYTHING!") to which I then think of all the things it obviously can't do.

Well, maybe not whatever, but close enough for me.

Wasn't this same kind of thread(s) going when Oblivion was about to launch?

Moral here is, "Play/watch the game for more than the 15 minute demo before making up your mind". For all we know Skyrim is nothing but flashy visuals and Cut'n'Paste everything else.

-_- So, because I have complaints means I'm a MW fanatic now? Hmm. Okay, since we're here....let's just insult and generalize people who bring up valid concerns some more. It'll be fun!

Oh...to condicending? Sorry, when I get generalized like that I tend to generalize right back - and I know people don't like being grouped with the Beth sheep out there. :sadvaultboy: My bad. I'm sure wanting the game to be better will come full circle and ruin SK...but being overly possitive will probably be perfectly fine. *looks over at Halo and COD* Perfectly fine.

I never said that just because you have complaints, hell I have complaints, that you are a Morrowind fan. The all important and.

Well it has to be better than Oblivion and I love Oblivion. I have it on pre-order and am looking forward to November 11th whenever steam gets it online.

I think someone really needs to make a comedy youtube video of them playing Skyrim and continuing to jump all over the place while convincingly asking "WHY DOESN'T MY ACROBATICS GO UP ALREADY?!" (no I am not sad to see it go but I think it would be funny)

Like failing to vault yourself on top of buildings? Climbing walls? Landing like a graceful cat from high drops? Most importantly of all, acrobatic flips and dodges? Well... again, I wish you good luck but I'm afraid your "acrobat" may unfortunately be the subject of laughter when in the presence of *REAL* NPC acrobats! So, hah! :teehee:

You generalized the "complainers" and the "morrowind fans" together in a negative light, and how they are both all over the forums spreading their evilness. <_< Perhaps I just got ahead of myself and threw em together because they both seemed to mean bad things in your first post. I'm sorry about that. Sad to say, but it's become a knee-jerk reaction to threads like these.

Haha I agree, so much, I want, want want so bad haha. And don't worry about the negativity, it always happens when a new game is going to come out, its the law of video games.
