[RELz] Insanity's Oblivion Launcher

Post » Wed Feb 23, 2011 5:40 am

Awww you took my feedback InsanitySorrow, I now love version 3 of ISOBL :celebration:

Everything is working great for me, and love the default tab ;)

Indeed I did :D, The users are the ones pushing ISOBL forward, so I listen to everything people suggest, even if it sounds odd to me :foodndrink:

So perhaps that might offer a clue - what's different between them?

A small amount of code, roughly 5 to 10 lines :), I'll do the same for all those forms, should prevent any errors.

Update:

This update consists of just an updated EXE, just replace the old with the new :). This update should fix those last little bugs that a few users found. Can't recall exactly what they were :lmao:

Note: If you are still having issues with the new EXE then I'd suggest deleting the INI and making a new one.

Appears to be all working just fine now, no disappearing directory data anywhere. :D

Hey there InsanitySorrow.
Just though you might like to know that BOSS has recently been updated in a way that breaks that link in ISOBL.
BOSS now runs from the BOSS.exe file, and the BOSS.bat which ISOBL links to no longer exists.
So if you are still interested in updating this valuable tool, that might be in order.

I never really came in to thank you IS for creating this awesome tool. I've been using this since v 1, and really like version 2. My day starts with starting ISOBL, then BOMM throught it, the forums, and WB. I don't launch the game through it yet...

I would request additional slots for utilities/programs to be added by users (currently limited to 4) so that there is more flexibility in adding user-choice program links... I want to add a link for Gamebooster, but all 4 slots are already full...

Good to hear ISOBL is liked and used :)

Hmmm they were limited for a reason, but I'll note that and see about adding additional slots in a possible future version.

I use BOSS and ISOBL myself, so yeah I got that fixed rather quick :lmao:

Bear in mind you can make it work with the latest BOSS by just making a BOSS.bat file with the following contents:

@echo off
BOSS.exe

Works fine then :)

Oh of course :) It's just a quick workaround I use until a new version is released :)

Some work arounds are nice to had, in some cases needed for a while :lmao:

Aside from the BOSS Update, I've been working on cleaning up some redundant code, should have an update out soon.
