Install CKSkyrim without downloading?

I know this might be better-suited to the Technical sub-forum, but it's not really an "issue", and is a bit more CK related (in terms of what I want), so I thought here might be the best.

Where I live, unfortunately, the internet is pretty terrible and slow; last time I installed Skyrim, it literally took around ten hours to download everything :/ Right now, I have a completely clean back-up of Skyrim on my PC, with just the fully-updated Skyrim, the CK and the Official DLC.

What I'm wondering is, is there a way I can use this to "install" Skyrim on my laptop, without going through that tedious ten-hour download thing? When I got my new PC, I tried using an old back-up, installing Skyrim and copying the files to the normal directory, and asking Steam to verify everything, but it still insisted on the download... So, did I do something wrong, or is there some other method of doing what I want? Or am I just going to be stuck waiting for the next ten hours? :(

Obviously it's the CK I specifically want, since I doubt my Laptop could play Skyrim too well, but it would be handy to be able to Mod when I'm not at my Desktop.

If Steam is installed on the new machine, then you should be able to install any game from the back up folder/files. Which by the way, is not an install, but a Restore. You need to run Steambackup.exe to do this.

Thank-you :) I'll give that a try, and see what happens :D
