Can someone help me? Ive been trying to install Daggerfall on my pc but i just cant get it to work. I got Arena to work but Daggerfall is different apparently.

I keep seeing that i have to open "dosbox.conf" or Config. in the folder where i download DOSBox but its not there! Am i suppose to make it or something? Also Daggerfall didnt auto-install the files to a certain location like Arena did, Im puzzled as to which folders i need after i unzip the free version and where to put them. I tried making a "Games" folder in DOSBox and adding the DFCD folder into the Game folder then running:

MOUNT C GAMES -freesize 700
MOUNT D C:\DFCD -t cdrom -label Daggerfall

but it says invalid name or something and wont let me install or play. Can anyone help please? thank you.


Edit: forgot to tell you I should have latest DOSBox. Got: DOSBox 0.73

First move the DFCD folder to Local Disc (C:)

Then open the config file by going to-

Start Menu - All Programs - DOSBox-0.73 - Configuration - Edit Configuration

Make the necessary changes to the configuration file, click 'Save As', and navigate to the DOSBox folder, (the default configuration file is in a strange place.) name the file 'Daggerfall.conf' and save.

There is no "configuration" file anywhere or anything i cant find it, ive look where i installed DOSBox but no luck.
and AH local C: ... i was putting it in the DOSBox file that might be why it was saying invailed name or something. ty.
