i was wondering, i have a free offer for the installation of SkyrimSE since i have the DLC, so there is a question. Can i install and play along with the old version or it is mandatory to uninstall the old one ?

Does it run as a completely new installation in windows ?

Skyrim SE is a completely new game in your Steam library, it does not replace or overwrite Skyrim.
