i think when people saiy its more easy to install with that thing, they are wrong... but for uninstall, i am sure its more easy, because you dont have to find each file that mod installed... but i just need to learn how it work... right now, i tried something... and the programm dont work anymore... i right clicked the unoficial patch and click show info.......... i wait... my computer memory start to get low, programm dont respond... i make my windows 7 ultimate 64 bit suffer... my poor mackbook pro 2,53ghz double core, 4 gb memory... i make you work to hard...

There is no point using obmm to repackage the official stuff. So don't touch what is your "clean" install. Just use obmm to install player made mods. The point of obmm is indeed to make uninstall easier, it doesn't make installing any easier unless the mods are already packaged as a OMOD. It will make uninstall a breeze though.

Supreme Commander has crazy system requirements too. I could run vanilla Oblivion before I could run that because it requires a more powerful GPU than Oblivion, at least if you want it to run tolerably smoothly. Oblivion does not require a very good graphics card at all. It does not require a quad-core processor either, but it does require a good processor. The newest, fastest CPUs just happen to be quad-core, but there are very nice dual cores as well. You could've invested in a fast dual core instead, even a Core2Duo would do...

IIUC it is not for messing with your DLC it is for managing mods that you DL and install.

Make a folder in C:/Programs/Oblivion called

"Mod DL folder"

DL your mods from TEXNexus or where ever you get them to this folder (after OBMM is installed.

Lets say you just DLed "Enhanced Economy" and "P1DKeychain."

Open OBMM. Click "Create Mod" in lower middle. Select an archive for one of the two mods (Enhanced Economy for example). If it is OBMM prepackaged it will be auto at that point. Now in your OBMM window all your DLC, and other .esp that are already installed will show on left (with the tick box so you can turn them off like in the launcher) and on the right, you'll see "Enhanced Economy." Select it, and you can "Activate" it by the button on the bottom.

Once it is activated it will work in game and show up on the left. Then if you want you can deactivate it too.

I've heard it is not a good idea to "clean" mods unless you really know what you are doing.
