Installing FCOM and having issues with MMM

So I have been attempting to install FCOM and get it all working for about 2 weeks now (On and off depending on my frustration level). This most recent attempt I installed each mod in order based on the guides here http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1160205-relz-fcom-convergence-and-ufcom/ , http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1116296-relz-martsmonstermod37b3-public-release-3-relz// , and http://devnull.sweetdanger.net/fcominstall.html . I have also posted on this forum a few times. Anyway my most recent attempt I installed each mod in order and after each one I launched and tested the game to make sure that it worked. Everything was going fine until I reached the point where I installed MMM. At that point I attempted to use the http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1116296-relz-martsmonstermod37b3-public-release-3-relz// guide because I believed it was the most recent. I downloaded all the mods specifcally as linked from that forum topic and somehow I once again managed to break it. Now my question is can someone please post a step by step guide on how and what options to install for MMM that will function with the FCOM load order as posted in the MMM topic ( http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1116296-relz-martsmonstermod37b3-public-release-3-relz// )

Unofficial Oblivion Patch
Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch (if applicable)
DLC's + Patches (if applicable)
Francesco's Creatures-Items 4.5 (Required for MMMforFrans)
OOO version 1.33 full patched to OOO 1.34 beta5 (Required for MMMforOOO)

Did you install the MMM ESM? You'll definitely need that.

Yes but one of the guides and or a forum post told me to rename that something like FCOM COnvergence MMM

EDIT: so as i review said guides and forum post i realize that i renamed the wrong file and that may be the source of all my issues. At this point i am literally banging my head on my desk while laughing

EDIT 2: So after adding the MMM esm and renaming the files correctly I can resume adding whats left of my mods to the game and hopefully not break it. All thats left are a few armor mods (plate armor plus) some body and texture mods and better cities.

You don't rename the ESM, you rename the BSA. That's very important. You need the ESM intact with the original file name for the mod to work. You also have to rename the BSA for the FCOM resources to work. If you don't rename the BSA you'll get missing meshes and stuff.
