MP instant action: horrible

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 12:13 am

i need to vent my frustration that this game causes me. instant action is terrible because only the top scorer gets credit for a win and everyone else wasted there time. its maddeningly frustrating to go 24-11 only to have the game tell you that you lost. because only the top person gets a win, instant action destroys win %s for almost everyone. which means the only reason to play it is to get the achievement for getting a win in every game mode. it certainly isn't for fun. I dont find it fun losing every game.

why couldnt they just do the smart thing and copy a successful game and make it so the top half get credit for a win? or at LEAST the top 3?

who else feels the stupidity of crytech? sorry, but they made some BAD decisions with the multiplayer.

In this game 90% of everyone will dislike their stats. Mine are horrible. Ugly. Not fun to look at. But ive just ranked 30 and a combination of playing experience and hard earned skill has made this my favorite game to play online. Don't get me wrong,i agree with u on the instant action, if I could I would change many things about this game. We all would. But losing 75% of the time makes the other 25% very satisfying, for me at least. I've learned to ignore my stats and enjoy hunting down and killing people who made me feel like an idiot. lol

Capture the Relay is no better. No one plans out anything... Same with Crash site. I was on a round earlier on Liberty Island... I figured I'd go sniping on top the lighthouse. You know, help the team actually be able to cap the crash site.... After 2 sniper shots on two enemies. ... about 3 minutes into it. The enemy team won.. The Score? 0-150 The entire time. Those idiots I called teammates were playing the wrong game mode...... And earlier I was on the parking lot level for Capture the Relay.... Um. I don't know where to start with them either. They knew nothing..... Opposing side knew how to play... Camp the Relay! Oh and Camp the alleyway in case someone with a brain actually decided to flank them......... Not once did I see any teammate do anything that could even use the word TEAM IN IT. My days off and I'm left to wondering why I'm loving Singleplayer MORE AND MORE as time passes as opposed to MULTI-PLAYER..... There is no coordination, there is no Team.. There's just I. I.I..I... screw TEAM Just ME and my rifle....

Why? Why? Why? I've seen better coordination in Crysis Wars: For example 1 hummer filled up with 4 people riding in it. Going to the battle area. Hell Just riding with people in a game made it more interesting than the MP in Crysis 2. It made me feel like I was actually part of a team. I'm not a weapon, I'm a player. I'm not an anti-social lone wolf... I'm the guy who's with a group who runs into a jungle and fires full auto at something that just killed my teammate...

Just cause Alcatraz is on his own in Crysis 2, does that mean we are in MP?

Raptor team was a team. Take the assault on the harbor, who was providing sniper support from the crane? Psycho! That's who.

Who helped Psycho in Warhead? Lazy Dane, Cupcake, Bandit and Blue Dog Bear was MIA... But again They were still around on the island.

Stats are insignificant numbers in this game and do not determine anything even close to skill, well maybe performance but that's it.

Played a game, people were 3 bar, little lag and a great host. Next game, the hsot is some **** 13 year old Canadian goof who can't get a job and afford something besides Telus. Like literally EVERYONE is 1 bar except for him. What the **** do I have to do in order to get games with little lag.

If anyone can tell me how to stand by for host let me know k thanks

id love to. but as i said, its not fun losing every game. im pretty easy to please with decisions in games. i understand that there are lots of different ideas out there. not everything has to gel with me, but this is a common sense issue, not difficult to get right. yes, technically you must finish 1st to WIN, but its horribly unfun, which is what its all about, and ruins the stats. different people find enjoyment out of different things: achievements, stats, single player, multiplayer, etc. thats why they implement those things into games and its important this is fixed. you may not care about stats or achievements, but many of us do.
