Can we have this awesome feature from rtcw:et? While playing operative its to hard to do quick kill while already succesfully got on someone's back... The class is so un-cool atm compared to covert ops.

edit:
with this nice "meeehhh" sound i still remember after all these years plz xD

If I recall correctly, the knife is a two-hit kill already. It's not like the extra swing takes too much more time, and at least gives someone a bit of time to react.

No thank you.

They deliberately avoided it, and I'm glad they did. It was going to be in at first, but they found it was ridiculously OP, to the point where people ignored shooting in favour of trying to get behind one another, and Lights basically just instant-won fights against any body type.

So no. You can practically one-shot by firing a few pistol shots before the knife hit though.

I think that this is deliberate and that sd dont want one shot kills......its a game about playing not killing.......otherwise why the xp weighting towards objectives and not kills.

I do think that head shots should carry a little more dammage though and i do get what you are saying but this is not supposed to be like they games we have all played before and subsequently we need to learn a new way of playing

Agreed. Don't want this to mimic halo where people are elbowing instead of shooting... in a FPS at that.

I don't think it would dramatically alter the gameplay, but it might make a nice ability, as long as it has a long enough cooldown.
