I am insulted

What the hell's an "N'wah" and why is everyone calling me that before they try to kill me? Is that another term for a Bosmer?

"Filthy s'wit!" That makes it worse.
BenDover if you don't have pretty thick skin, maybe Morrowind is not for you...because they do call you names, and all manner of nasty things....
.....and I imagine that they talk about me behind my back all the time too. The only comfort I seem to find is the gentle purring of a tamed Guar.

If your speech craft is above room temperature, you can easily get eveyone in Vvardenfell to treat you like a rock star. At least the ones you don't need to whack.

True, Morrowind NPCs can be cold to you at first, especially if you have a low personality, but in time, you'll be able to get a much warmer welcome, of course, sometimes it's so warm as to become creepy, like the ever popular "I have a feeling that you and I are about to become very close." line. Now, there's not anything you can do to stop people who want you dead from insulting you, but hey, you get to kill them, so it's not so bad.

Actually I felt the Native Dunmer just as warm as people you meet walking the streets of downtown.

Woaah never said that. If you're referring to the title I was being sarcastic. Being called "nwah" meant nothing to me because I'm not that accustomed with Morrowind just yet.

or s'wit!

Never been called that yet, I think I was accused of being a "nerevar" or something.

I thought it meant you were an outcast or orphan, I haven't cared enough to pay much attention to quests outside of the mages and thieves guild.

My first char went to the Vivec Mages Guild wearing the clothes she'd gotten off the boat in, in Seyda Neen. Sorlionwe told her she dressed like a peasant. She immediately went downstairs to the fine clothiers and bought a new outfit.
