Finally, Jiub's adventure continues!

Jiub should first stab the dead guy repeatedly to make sure that the dead guy is in fact, dead, and then use the dead guy as a meatshield in case there are any enemies down the hallway.

Take a lock of the dead guys hair, and smoke it.

Pick up the dead guy and begin treating and talking to him like an old friend.

skin the dead guy to add another layer of leather to his armor.

Is that is what happens will it continue?

Loot the body and continue down the hall?

From the story perspective since you didnt smell (or havent yet) any foul smell of the corpse you could say its "fresh" and he got killed minutes before you.
